Get to know your neighbours at the big lunch
Residents are being encouraged to get to know their neighbours and sign up to host a street party for The Big Lunch on June 1.
Rod Curtis, who has organised Big Lunches in Wareham, said: “We’ve had two fantastic Big Lunch events so far, starting with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2013 and the 60th anniversary of her coronation last year.
“We are going to carry on the tradition and hold a Big Lunch this year with plans to combine it with our annual Wareham Music Festival.”
