Debenhams in Weymouth has formed new partnership with Help for Heroes.
The appeal launches on Saturday with a fundraising weekend in store.
It will last throughout March and Debenhams is aiming to raise a minimum of £75,000 nationally.
The retailer will also be supporting Help for Heroes with a range of limited edition merchandise. Exclusive sweatshirts and T-shirts for men by Red Herring will be available in store ranging from £20 to £35, with 100 per cent of the profits being donated to the charity.
Craig Tizzard, store manager of Debenhams Weymouth, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Help for Heroes. We’ll kick off the initiative with a fundraising weekend in store on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd March with the support of local Help for Heroes volunteers who will be selling merchandise and collecting donations.”
The Debenhams Foundation was set up in 2012. Since its launch the Foundation has raised over £1million for good causes.
