POLICE have launched an investigation after a Weymouth business was burgled.

Thieves broke in to GMS Plumbing and Heating Supplies on the Lynch Lane Industrial Estate between 6pm on Wednesday, February 19 amd 7.10am on Thursday, February 20.

They stole a quantity of Mira Element, Mira Select Flex and Mira Advance electric showers and a Vulcan Express 472 gas soldering torch.

PC Chris Bevans, of Weymouth police, said: “This crime has caused a lot of inconvenience and expense to the victim.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, has seen any suspicious activity or has information about those responsible to come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered to buy similar goods in unusual circumsTances or for suspiciously low prices.
