A WOMAN was injured in a crash on the A352 at Owermoigne.
Emergency services were alerted to a two car collision in Wareham Road near Owermoigne garage at around 10am.
The road was closed at the garage and at Warmwell Cross roundabout.
A woman was cut free from a Volkswagen Polo by the fire service.
The other vehicle involved was a Ford C-Max.
South Western Ambulance said a woman suffered neck, chest and knee injuries and was taken to Dorset County Hospital for treatment.
Dorset Police said it was a slight injury collision.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Weymouth and Dorchester attended.
A spokesman said: "Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and release one casualty from the vehicle.
"The casualty was placed onto a spinal board and ambulance paramedics took over their care."
"Fire crews made the vehicle and area safe, before leaving at around 11:30am."
The road was reopened at 11.40am.
