A MARATHON runner from Poundbury is holding a fun-filled fundraising event at Dorchester Rugby Club to boost her charity efforts.
Georgina Kosnar, pictured right, is running the London Marathon on April 13 to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust after being motivated by her cousin and close friend’s battle with the disease.
She is putting on an evening of entertainment at the Dorchester Rugby Club off Coburg Road from 7.30pm on Friday, April 4.
The event will include a DJ, live music from local artist Jack Daniels and a bumper raffle with hundreds of prizes to give away including golf days, hampers, family day out vouchers and lots more.
People will also be able to enjoy a buffet and a chocolate fountain.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children with raffle tickets priced at £1 each or £5 a strip and all money raised will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
