Gardeners don wellies for Chapelhay planting session
A HARDY bunch of Weymouth gardeners turned out for a planting day.
Chapelhay Community Playgarden saw 30 people don wellies and waterproof jackets to help at a community planting day earlier this month.
Despite the rain, residents brought along snowdrops, a bay tree and lots of flowering plants to plant.
The group meets from 11.30am on the first Sunday of every month. Next month’s event will be the annual Easter Eggstravaganza on April 6.
