PURBECK District Council staff helped raise £600 for forces charity Help for Heroes after organising a pub quiz.
A dozen teams took part in the quiz night and raffle at Stoborough’s Kings Arms, with a team made up of district council staff and their partners winning.
District council chief executive Steve Mackenzie said: “The evening was a huge success and I am extremely grateful to the staff that organised the event and everyone who attended.
“Also thanks to the everyone for digging deep to raise money for Help for Heroes.”
Lida Mutton organised the quiz with colleagues Jill Jackson, Alex Clothier and Maria Byrne.
