A TEA party is being held to raise money for women with cancer.
All are invited to the event in Preston, Weymouth, in aid of The Eve Appeal, which specifically helps women with ovarian cancer.
This month is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and to raise awareness Theresa Clayton is hosting a series of events including a tea party in St Andrew’s Church Rooms, Preston on Saturday, March 22.
It is taking place between 3pm and 5pm and the theme of the party is ‘It’s Behind You’ – the magic of pantomime.
There will be a pantomime fancy dress parade, raffle and quiz, and activities for children.
Theresa said: “I know only too well the devastating effects of ovarian cancer. I lost my mum Wendy to it in 2007 after being diagnosed myself with it in 2002.”
