THE search is on to find ‘unsung heroes’ in a west Dorset community.
Each year individuals and groups do good work in the village of Crossways but their actions are not properly recognised.
So Crossways Parish Council has agreed to introduce the ‘Crossways Community Awards’.
The aim is to give the community the opportunity to say thank you for making a difference to the lives of others or generally to the village of Crossways. Nominations should be sent to; Stella Wilson, Clerk to Crossways Parish Council, 79 Dover Road, Wyke Regis, Weymouth, DT4 9DB or emailed to crossways@dorsetparishes.gov.uk by March 31.
The nomination must include, the name and address of the nominated individual or group, reasons for the nomination and your name and address.
