WEST DORSET-based actor Martin Clunes drew a top bid for a charity doodle.
The Doc Martin star, who lives near Beaminster, helped raise money for Epilepsy Action’s National Doodle Day.
His sketch of a cartoon elephant raised the highest bid of £500 in an auction of more than 200 celebrity doodles.The total raised for the celebrity auction was just over £9,000.
Anyone can do a doodle and donate a pound by downloading a card from doodle-day.epilepsy.org.uk and sending it in with a suggested donation of £1.
All doodles received before Friday April 4 will be entered into the National Doodle Day competition.
