VOLUNTEERS will be hoping for another generous response as they hit the streets of Dorchester and Weymouth collecting for those in need around the world.
Last year thousands of people in the two towns support Zdenka Bollom and her team of collectors from ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) as they raised more than £2,500.
They will be collecting again from March 29 to April 14 to support the work of ADRA, which helps people in the United Kingdom as well as Asia and Africa to escape from poverty, hunger and health problems.
Anyone interested in getting involved in the fundraising, or who would like to find out more about ADRA, is invited to attend a presentation about this year’s annual appeal in the Cerne Abbas Room at the United Church in Dorchester from 1pm on Saturday, March 29.
