MORE than 80 people took part in the Weymouth Sport Relief mile at the Redlands Community Sports Hub.
The Sport Relief fundraiser had mile events taking place up and down the country with a choice of distance to suit all abilities.
Entrants had the choice to run or walk one, three or six miles.
Redlands manager Lewis Stripp said: “We had so many people take part with a real mix of ages including children and families.
“Most people completed the one or three-mile distances but a few brave souls reached the six-mile point.
“We had more than 80 people take part and you can see they had a brilliant time while doing it.
“We often do charity events here, probably a couple of times a month, but to take part in a national campaign like Sport Relief was great for us.”
