After the success of the Dorset Echo’s Dorset books series, this year we are producing a book picturing the changes to the Dorset landscape, featuring a selection of nostalgic Dorset landscape, town and village scenes over the years coupled with how the same image/landscape looks today. So if you have any interesting old images of Dorset that you hold the copyright permission for, we would be interested in looking at them for possible use in the book.
When we have selected the images for publication our team of photographers will have the job reproducing an image showing how it looks today. Please send your digital photos as large as possible or A4 size at 300dpi to newsdesk@dorsetecho.co.uk including a description of the location, your name, contact details and permission for the use of the image in the Dorset Book and any media advertising for the book.
The closing date for entries is April 30 and prints can be sent or hand delivered to Newsdesk, Dorset Echo, Fleet House, Hampshire Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 9XD.
