A LAW firm has strengthened its international links by adding a German and Chinese law firm to its worldwide network of experts.
Humphries Kirk, solicitors with eight offices across Dorset and Somerset, is part of a group known as the HKI-Network.
The network has members in Paris, Hannover, Cologne, Milan, Prague, Madrid, Malaga, Malta and Dublin and correspondents in New York, Toronto, Washington, Moscow and Tokyo.
It includes legal and business advisers who work in partnership with each other to benefit clients within international business.
Peltzer Suhren, a long established company with offices in Hannover and Shanghai which has English-speaking German and Chinese lawyers, recently joined the HKI Network.
James Selby-Bennett, senior partner of Humphries Kirk and member of the HKI-Network, is delighted with the addition of Peltzer Suhren. He said: “As part of HKI we provide advice and support to individuals and organisations which have private or commercial international interests. This could be anything from buying or selling international property, to assisting in negotiations of major international contracts or dealing with international banking matters.”
