THE Friends of Lodmoor Country Park are holding their third Lodmoor Ahoy! event on Sunday, April 6 between 1pm and 3.30pm.
This free family fun afternoon will offer children accompanied by adults a choice of activities designed to get them out around the park.
A bright pink Olympic Ambassador gazebo, and another loaned by Matt Lester of Pier Plaster & Build, will be set up in the children’s play area, beside the wooden galleon and members of the Friends will be on hand to guide everyone through the activities.
There will be sweet treats from the Easter Bunny to reward children playing the Hunt the Bunny game, a printmaking contest with best prints posted on Facebook, and prizes in the free raffle. This year the RSPB will be setting up its stall with wildlife activities and information for all. Refreshments will be on sale at 5J’s Café and at park kiosks. For more information call 01305 772075.
