A HAUL of electrical goods and other valuables was stolen in a burglary in Weymouth.

Intruders broke into a house in Douglas Road at Wyke and stole a large number of items including electrical goods, police said.

Valuables stolen include an Xbox, televisions and a kindle – jewellery, a quantity of cash and other personal items.

It happened sometime between 6am and 10pm on Monday, March 24.

Detective Constable Steve Dodge, of Weymouth CID, said: “The items stolen are of great value to the victim.

“A particularly distinctive item taken was a Panasonic 50 inch 3D television with 3D glasses.

“I would urge anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to come forward as soon as possible.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered such items or similar for sale in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price.

“Anyone with information that can assist the investigation is asked to contact the police in confidence.”
