Original offences of failing to stop after a road accident, failing to report an accident and driving whilst disqualified. Committed to prison for three months. Also admitted assault by beating. Committed to prison for one month, to be served concurrently. Restraining order made. Admitted possessing 0.4grams of cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B. No separate penalty. Drugs to be forfeited and destroyed. Overall length of sentence three months.

KARN STANLEY, aged 25, of Bridlebank Way. Found guilty in absence of travelling on a railway without having paid the fare. Fined £400 and ordered to pay compensation of £2.50 and costs of £140.

ERIC DANIEL BOOTH, aged 60, of Leamington Road. Found guilty of being in charge of a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol the proportion in 100 millilitres of breath was 42 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £100. Disqualified from holding a driving licence for three months.

ADAM JOEL HILL, aged 24, of Cromwell Road. Found guilty of assault by beating. Discharged conditionally for one year.

MARCIIV ZAJAC, 33, of Carlton Road North. Found guilty of being in charge of a motor vehicle after alcohol level exceeded the prescribed limit, namely 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £260 and ordered to pay costs of £620. Licence or counterpart endorsed with 10 points.

NICHOLAS CHARLES BELLAMY, aged 24, of Radipole Lane. Admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Discharged conditionally for one year and ordered to pay costs of £85.

STEVEN PAUL RILEY, aged 32, of Bayard Road. Admitted possessing a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B. Fined £150 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Drugs to be forfeited and destroyed. Admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Fined £50.
