A Dorset dad killed in a road crash in north Dorset died of multiple injuries, an inquest heard.
Michael Brown, 43, from Sturminster Marshall was travelling with his wife and daughter when they were involved in a head-on collision on the A31 near Winterborne Zelston.
Mr Brown was pronounced dead at the scene on Monday March 24. His wife and daughter suffered serious, but not life threatening, injuries and were treated in hospital before being released the following day.
The inquest was opened in Bournemouth by coroner Sheriff Payne.
• A 28-year-old man from Taunton was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
