The British Heart Foundation is appealing for volunteers to help with the Dorset Bike Ride.
The event takes place on April 27 and with just four weeks to go, hundreds of riders are gearing up to the big day.
The BHF needs groups of volunteers to help with car parking and signing participants in on the registration desks. Event volunteers are also needed at the finish line to hand out medals and water to the returning cyclists. Starting and finishing at Queen Elizabeth school in Wimborne, riders can choose to cycle one of the 25, 50, 66 or 100-mile routes, taking in the stunning countryside and some beautiful villages.
Refreshment stops are situated along the route where cyclists can grab a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake.
Join the fight today and call the events team to register on 0845 130 8663 or visit bhf.org.uk/dorset. Alternatively, you can also email the events team on events@bhf.org.uk It’s also not too late to take part in the event as a rider. Visit bhf.org.uk/dorset for more information or to register. The event has an entry fee of £15 for adults and £5 for accompanied children.
Registration on the day is available but at a higher fee.
