The United Church on South Street, Dorchester, is holding an Easter coffee morning tomorrow between 10am and noon.
This will include refreshments, bric-a-brac, and competitions. All proceeds will go to Mercy Ships, the charity which provides expert help in some of the world’s poorest countries.
There will be a World Church Sunday service on Sunday at 10.30, led by the Rev John Walker, and including a talk by Peter and Jackie Higgins, who have recently returned from Mercy Ships.
The United Church has been raising funds to support Mercy Ships for a and a charity concert raised more than £700 last month.
