STUDENTS at Weymouth College will host two fundraising events for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
An evening of local talent will be held in aid of the cause on Friday, June 20 from 7pm at Weymouth Pavilion.
Hosted by level three travel and tourism students, Talent 4 Teenage Cancer will feature performances showcasing Dorset’s top young talent.
The line-up includes Beckii Power, Ed Hintze, Patchwork Native, Francis Anyanjo and many more to be announced closer to the time.
Tickets cost £2 or £4 on the night and will be available to purchase from Weymouth Pavilion from May 12.
Second-year students, who are undertaking an extended diploma in travel and tourism, will host an afternoon of ‘Bingo and Buns’ on the same day between 3pm and 5pm.
All funds raised will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust, which works to raise funds, educate and support teenagers fighting cancer.
