COASTGUARDS were alerted to a report of a dog falling over a cliff at Durlston Head near Swanage.

A search was launched at 10am on Sunday, but sadly nothing was found.

Elsewhere, Plymouth bomb disposal team and coastguards from Kimmeridge investigated a report of a possible ordnance at Clavells Hard, Kimmeridge.

The reported location was searched but nothing was found.

The incident happened at around 4pm on Sunday.
