COASTGUARDS were alerted to a sinking vessel in Poole Harbour.
The incident happened at around 5pm on Monday.
Rescue teams found that the boat had been there for some time and that no-one was at risk.
No action was taken.
Later on Monday, coastguards towed a fishing boat with a broken propeller into Swanage.
The call was received at 7pm from the vessel ‘Green Buoys’.
Portland coastguard were also alerted to a report of an Alsation dog falling off cliffs in the area of Otter Cove, Straight Point in Devon.
Officers from Exmouth and Beer Coastguard Rescue Teams attended and were able to safely recover the dog to the cliff top.
This incident happened at around 4.30pm.
