COMMUNITY radio station Air 107.2FM will host an Easter Bunny Ball to raise money for a good cause.

Live music, games and fun for all the family is set for fundraising event ‘Kenyair’ in Weymouth on Saturday, April 19 between 1.30pm and 7pm.

Funds will go towards the Baragu Health Centre Chagoria in Kenya and Air 107.2.

Not only will there be free BBQ food, a bouncy castle and Easter-themed games, the Easter Bunny will be on hand as the guest of honour.

Six hours of live music is planned including The Dinner Ladies and vocalist Eloise Budd.

Residents, visitors and families are being invited to attend the event, which is being held at Westfield Arts College playing field.

Breakfast show host Carl Greenham, of Air 107.2, said: “We have the cream of Weymouth’s music scene coming to the event.

“Money raised will go towards a great cause.

“It’s going to be great fun.”

Entry costs £7 per person or £25 for a family of four.

Air stands for All Inclusive Radio and began its life as a student radio station, streaming online to students at Westfield Arts College.

It soon grew and pulled together students from across the locale to jointly broadcast on Air.

The station continues in its aim to help ignite students’ creativity, boost self-confidence, meet curriculum objectives and ultimately, gives students a voice within their local community.
