A WOMAN has pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding after a court heard she bit off part of a man’s ear in a pub.

Josephine Mulry, 27, admitted the charge at a hearing at Dorchester Crown Court.

Judge Roger Jarvis warned the defendant, of Airfield Close, Crossways, that she could face jail.

He adjourned the hearing for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Mulry was released on unconditional bail and is due to return to the court on May 9 to be sentenced.
