IT’S eggs galore at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens this Easter.

The attraction located just outside Abbostbury on the coast road will be holding a special event across the Easter weekend, beginning Good Friday and finishing at the end of Easter Monday.

Eli Echo, the Dorset Echo’s mascot, donated 8,000 yummy chocolate eggs which will be given to youngsters as part of the giant Easter egg trail.

Egg hunters will have to find a hidden token, located around the gardens, to get a special chocolate egg treat from the Easter bunny.

There will also be the chance to win two giant 1.5kg milk chocolate eggs every day, for lucky visitors that find a golden horseshoe.

Or find one of ten tiny golden letters making up the word ‘Abbotsbury’ and win a scrumptious chocolate bunny.

Plus there will be bouncy castle, a face painting tent, a children’s entertainer and story times throughout the day.

As well as all the egg-cellent egg-citement there will be the chance to explore the gardens and watch a bird of prey display in their very own tent.

The attraction is open every day from 10am.
