Write opportunity for budding young authors
Budding authors aged between nine and 13 are invited to enter the New Horizons Writing Competition 2014.
Children in Years 5 and 6 should submit a story of no more than 1,500 words.
Children in Years 7 and 8 should submit an outline of a novel, including main events and characters, in no more than 250 words as well as the opening 500 to 1,000 words.
