RESCUE: The coastguard helicopter took the boy to DCH
An 11-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital by the coastguard helicopter after suffering an injury at a football match.
Paramedics treating the boy at King George’s Field in Swanage this afternoon called for coastguard assistance.
The Portland helicopter was scrambled and flew him to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester for treatment.
