FAMILIES flocked to Poundbury Gardens for Easter Bunny Day, a free half-term activity.
Bunny enthusiasts of all ages queued up to meet George the Dutch, Jubilee the Rex Cross and their six newborn unnamed kits, which were brought along by Animals in Education, a family-run petting farm in Dorset.
Other activities for the children included an Easter rabbit hunt, making rabbit ears and designing an Easter egg competition.
The Gardens Group also hosted activities at its centres in Yeovil and Sherborne.
Mike Burks, managing director of The Gardens Group, said: “We were delighted with the success of these events. It is always a pleasure to see young people engage with animals and learn about the importance of wildlife.
“We want to say a huge thank you to Animals in Education who brought the very good-tempered rabbits to all three events.”
