Accused in dock on burglary charge
A MAN has appeared at Dorchester Crown Court in connection with an alleged aggravated burglary in Lyme Regis.
Emergency services were alerted to an incident in South Avenue early on the morning of Saturday, April 5.
Marcus Coutain, of Greenway Close, London, did not enter any pleas when he appeared at the crown court in connection with the incident.
The 41-year-old also faces charges of theft from a motor vehicle, being in possession of a controlled drug and having an offensive weapon in a public place. Coutain was remanded in custody and is expected to enter pleas at his next hearing on June 10.
