A MAN is still in hospital in a critical condition a month after he was found with burns at a Weymouth beauty spot.
The man, who has not been named, was left fighting for his life after the incident that occurred on Friday March 14.
Police, paramedics, firefighters and coastguards were called to Bowleaze Coveway at 7.15am after a man was discovered on the grass area close to the Lookout Café.
Ambulance staff said the man had burns all over his body.
He was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, Dorset Police said.
Officers said the man remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition in a medically induced coma.
It is believed the man drove to the area that morning.
Dorset Police said that a black Citroen C2 registered to the man was recovered at the scene from the bottom of a slight slope.
