A NEW grant scheme has been launched for organisations and individuals who provide opportunities for people living in West Dorset.
Supported by NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and West Dorset District Council (WDDC) the scheme is open to individuals or groups who can demonstrate they can meet the strategic objectives of the Dorset Health and Wellbeing Strategy and work within the area of WDDC.
Grants of up to £500 may be available for applicants who demonstrate that their project will meet one of several outcomes including reducing harm caused by smoking, reducing circulatory disease, reducing the harms caused by road traffic collisions, reducing the harms caused by diabetes, reducing anxiety and depression or improving care for people with dementia.
More information along with an application form is available via the NHS Dorset CCG website dorsetccg.nhs.uk
