YOUNG people got to grips with their options at a careers fair last week.
More than 30 organisations attended the event at Dorchester’s Corn Exchange to talk to 15 to 25 year-olds about education, employment, health and social care.
Kate Sanderock, Fresh Start project co-ordinator, said: “The event was designed to give young people a good idea about what’s available to them.
“We had more than 50 young people turn up, plus some carers and parents too.
“It was a great success and we hope we gave young people some helpful advice.”
Teenager Rhys Cooper, who attended the event, said: “It was really helpful and helped to put me in the right direction. There was lots of variety and the job club was brilliant.”
