RESIDENTS are being reminded to take to the polls as Weymouth and Portland Borough Council holds an election for one third of its councillors.

Polling day is on Thursday, May 22 and residents can vote between 7am and 10pm.

Verification will take place from 10pm at Weymouth Pavilion.

The count – where the results will be announced – will be held on Friday, May 23.
