RESIDENTS have until April 28 to have their say on what they think of proposals for new council ward boundaries across West Dorset district.
The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England’s draft recommendations propose that West Dorset District Council should have 42 councillors in the future, six fewer than the current arrangements.
Chairman of the commission Max Caller said: “We are keen to hear local views about our boundary proposals before we finalise them in July.”
Local people can have their say directly by visiting consultation.lgbce.org.uk If you would like to make a submission write by April 28 to The Review Officer (West Dorset), Local Government Boundary Commission for England, Layden House, 76-86 Turnmill Street, London EC1M 5LG.
