Ladies that Lunch raise £325 for Women's refuge
The Ladies that Lunch group raised £325.00 for the Women’s Refuge.
Organiser Abbigail Langstone-Wring based the format on the popular Come Dine With Me TV show.
She said: “Our non-competitive fun group meet and the ‘hostess’ provides lunch while her ‘guests’ supply the wine and a £5 donation. This is the fourth cycle and the next will begin August or September. It has proved so popular we are expanding to include The Ladies Supper group.”
