IN THE SWIM: Samantha Hetreed, Philippa O’Grady, Adele Parham, Julia Hendrie and Caroline Law, raised more than £1,200 for Sport Relief
A TEAM of swimmers have made a splash for Sport Relief, raising more than £1,200 for the cause.
Samantha Hetreed, from Oxley Sports Centre in Sherborne, joined a team of Master Swimmers from Wincanton Swim Club to complete a 5k relay in just over an hour.
The swimmers, Samantha, Philippa O’Grady, Adele Parham, Julia Hendrie and Caroline Law, challenged themselves to raise £1,000 and are thrilled to have broken the target.
Samantha said: “The team trained incredibly hard at Oxley and we’re delighted to have the support of so many people and smash our fundraising target.”
