The animals at Margaret Green Animal Rescue have received a huge £830 thanks to the fantastic fundraising efforts of the local Military Wives.
Charlotte Halley and her team of ladies, who are all wives of service personnel, raised £830 by starting up an online auction at Blandford Camp.
The ladies donated services and other items which attracted lots of bids.
Auction lots included hairdressing, a manicure, cakes, meals, printed photographs, a photoshoot, ironing, babysitting, a new ipod, chauffeur services and dog walking!
Charlotte is a volunteer dog walker at Margaret Green’s Lincoln Farm in Dorset on her days off from running her own business Lotty’s Long Walks.
She said: ‘“My goal was to raise £200 to help the dogs at Lincoln Farm who I visit when I can. When the total reached £830 I was over the moon.”
