Debenhams in Weymouth is celebrating after helping to raise money for Help for Heroes, a charity that supports wounded servicemen and their families.
Debenhams across the country raised £200,000, smashing the target of £75,000.
Weymouth store manager Craig Tizzard said: “To beat our national target by £125,000 is fantastic. I’d like to thank all our customers who generously donated, as well as my store team who worked so hard holding fundraising events and activities throughout the month.”
The appeal ran throughout March, kicking off with a fundraising weekend in store at the beginning of the month.
As well as in store fundraising activities, the retailer supported Help for Heroes with a range of limited edition merchandise.
The Debenhams Foundation was set up in 2012.
