Road closed in Wareham after two vehicle crash
POLICE closed the A351 in Wareham following a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
A diversion was put in place via Bere Road and the A351 was closed both ways at Sandford Road junction, near Wareham Golf Club.
The crash took place at around 5.30pm this afternoon.
It involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle, registered to a Shaftesbury keeper, and a Peugeot 106, registered to a Wareham resident.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said the motorcyclist was taken to hospital but injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
