A DORCHESTER supermarket is offering free NHS health checks to customers on Friday.
Customers aged between 40 and 75 will be able to get a free check up at Waitrose in the county town to mark its Business in the Community Day.
A qualified pharmacist from Angel Pharmacy in Weymouth will be in store from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Staff from the store will also be giving a presentation and cookery demonstration at the Thomas Hardye School and promoting healthy eating at Age UK Dorchester’s Lunch Club on the day. Branch manager Chris Parry said: “Business in the Community Day is a wonderful opportunity for our partners to give back to the local community in Dorchester, and it also highlights Waitrose’s commitment to healthy living for all ages.”
