DANIEL PAUL LANKSHEAR, aged 27, of Southview Road, Weymouth. Admitted assault by beating. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months with requirement to be under supervision and to attend the BBR programme in the event of activation of sentence. Ordered to pay £85 costs. Also admitted a second charge of assault by beating. Committed to prison for four weeks consecutive suspended for 12 months with requirements as above. Overall length of sentence 22 weeks. In a separate case admitted criminal damage to property. Ordered to pay compensation of £528.

KERRIE HORWAT, also known as KERRIE ANN JAMES and KERRIE-ANN JAMES, aged 32, of Overlands Road, Weymouth. Admitted stealing a handbag, iPhone and driving licence, to the value of £400. Community order made with requirement to be under curfew for three months. Ordered to pay compensation of £438.

DAVID KERR, aged 52, of Sutcliffe Avenue, Weymouth. Admitted driving a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol the proportion of it in breath was 100 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath. Community order made with requirement to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Ordered to pay £85 costs. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months. Also admitted being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which on a road an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle, and failed to report the accident. Community order with requirement as above. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months.

Also admitted breach of a conditional discharge. Discharged conditionally for 18 months and ordered to pay costs of £35.

LINDA RUSSELL, aged 53, Beverley Road, Weymouth. Admitted to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions in the prescribed manner of a change in circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to Jobseekers Allowance and failing to notify Weymouth and Portland Borough Council in the prescribed manner of a change in circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to council tax and housing benefit. Discharged conditionally for two years and ordered to pay costs of £40.
