The Museums at Night event is being held on Saturday and sees one ticket offer families entry to eight venues across the county town.
The Dinosaur Museum, the Tutankhamun Exhibition, Dorset County Museum, The Teddy Bear Museum, The Keep Military Museum, The Terracotta Warriors Museum, the Roman Town House and Max Gate are all joining forced for the event to encourage more people to explore the exciting attractions Dorchester has to offer.
Max Gate will be open from 3.30pm to 5.30pm with the other venues opening their doors from 5pm to 9pm.
For the first time the event will also feature a Museums at Night trail, which people can follow to solve clues and enter a prize draw.
