New service to help older people use the internet

First published in News

A NEW service is offering older people help to get connected.

Jane Askew, who has 20 years of experience teaching older adults, is running Carers Connected – a service backed by charity Age UK.

The service is for people who want to get online but don’t know who to ask and people who feel they are missing out or left out.

Jane can help with a range of areas of computing and can assist with setting up the technology and confidence using it. With her help people can connect with their technology without chaos or confusion, connect to family, friends and the outside world and also share things with loved ones.

For help with Windows 7 or 8, iPads or iPhones, Apple Macs, Androids or printers contact Jane.askew@btopenworld.com or call 07989 322718.
