A KEEN gardener was delighted to scoop first prize at the Blandford and District Horticultural Society for her English hybrid Narcissus Sherborne.
Rosemary Bell, from Blandford, received a bottle of wine and certificate from Mike Burks, managing director of The Gardens Group, after he judged the many entries of double daffodils at the United Reformed Church in Blandford.
Castle Gardens in Sherborne, part of The Gardens Group, donated 30 bulbs for society members to cultivate at home after the former president bred the Narcissus Sherborne last year.
