COASTGUARD ROUNDUP: Fishing boat needs assistance
LYME Regis RNLI inshore lifeboat assisted a broken down fishing vessel off West Bay.
The boat broke down at around 8.30pm on Friday (MAY 16) and was towed in to West Bay harbour.
Earlier in the day, a pair of kayakers were towed to safety after calling for help off Peverel Point, Swanage.
The incident happened around 1.30pm.
A rib was nearby and kept the kayakers under observation until the Swanage RNLI inshore lifeboat arrived and towed them to shore.
