Dorset commuters face delays after engineering works overrun
TRAIN users are facing delays after engineering works between Bournemouth and Dorchester over ran.
The works were scheduled to finish over the weekend but will not finish until 2pm today, Monday, May 19, resulting in a bus replacement service running between Dorchester South and Bournemouth.
A spokesman for South West Trains said that this may extend journey times by up to 90 minutes.
The company has also put on an extra half-hourly train shuttle service between Weymouth and Dorchester South, and said that trains to London Waterloo are running as normal from Bournemouth.
