A SLICE of Scandinavia came to a Dorset village on a day of celebration.
A group of Norwegian women from West Dorset came together in Stratton with friends and family to celebrate Norway’s National Day. The date is celebrated annually throughout Norway and Norwegians around the world and this year marked 200 years since the nation established its own constitution.
Around 60 children and adults enjoyed a buffet lunch with traditional cakes as well as speeches and singing in the village hall followed by a procession around the green.
