THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit robbery this evening.

Armed police swooped in Lower Blandford Road, Broadstone, Poole outside the Nationwide Building Society at around 8pm.

Tyre deflation rams were discharged to disable a vehicle.

A 37 year-old man from Broadstone, a 40 year-old man from Poole and a 48 year-old man from Manchester have been arrested and are in custody helping officers with their enquiries.

Dorset Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Lower Broadstone Road area, near to the junction with Grange Road at the time of the arrests.
