Man in court over dangerous driving
A man has appeared in court accused of causing death by dangerous driving on the A35 near Bridport last summer.
David Churcher, 32, entered no plea at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court to one count of causing the death of Stephen Christopher Fawcett by driving a Ford Transit van dangerously, relating to a crash on August 19, 2013.
Churcher, of Singleton Drive, Bournemouth, is also charged with a linked count of possessing cannabis on the same date.
He was released on unconditional bail to attend Bournemouth Crown Court on June 16.
